<p>@Calla1 - We have our 529 withdrawl checks sent directly to the school. I usually give them about 16 days notice and they have always gotten there in plenty of time.</p>
<p>@ConfusedMominMa - thanks, I was greatly relieved to log on to the school website on Tuesday to see that the check had been received and credited to his account. </p>
<p>It took 11 days from the time I ordered it. Pretty fast!</p>

<p>The situation Niquii describes is exactly what has always frustrated me about secondary educational institutions. They are the least “customer service” oriented entities I’ve ever encountered. Kids who can’t get dorm assignments because they accepted too many, posting tuition bills days before it is due as if everybody can just hunt down tens of thousands of dollars overnight, not being able to get classes that are needed because they are full. If certain classes are always full with wait lists, then why in the world would they not add sections? Why would they NOT change the due date if the state hadn’t determined tuition yet? None of it makes sense in any sector of society. </p>
