For new freshman/transfer students, has anyone received the tuition bill and housing lease yet? Reason i ask is because on the O-week website, it says that they are to be mailed June 1st and I still haven't received anything yet...

DS got his several days ago. Just a note; student loans haven't been listed on bills yet, so if you will be getting student loans, the "total due" is higher than it will be once that info is available. Also, IF you have decent health insurance coverage, don't forget to subtract off the health insurance premium before paying the bill, and go to the online site to fill out the waiver of health insurance. (you will still be able to use the student health center, since that is a different fee in your bill.)

My son received them a couple of days ago, also - we're in Florida. They weren't mailed June 1, though - it was more like June 4 or 5, I think.

Are y'all able to login to esther yet? I am a junior and my financial aid award status was just recently posted online under Student Financial Services -->Award Status-->Award for Aid year--->Award year 2007-2008 'Submit'

DD's not there yet. :(

Call just in case. I received mine a few days ago. I thought mine would never come because it takes mail forever to reach me even in NYC.

My D's isn't updated either. I really need to know how broke we're going to be come Fall 2007!

DD's is not here yet either. I looked on line at the bill though and the scholarships were there.

F.A. office said that they were running behind... It's a busy time of year for them. I have DS's bill (incoming freshman), but not DD's FA package yet. It's been okay the last three years, so it'll probably be fine, but I am curious to see exactly how it will come out with both of them in school!

D's FA package came in the mail today, but Esther doesn't show any of the information yet. Yep, we're definitely going to be broke this year.

Can I share my favorite beans recipe? Cook pinto beans until done. Add garlic, epazote, cumin. Eat with rice, nightly. Nutritous, mega-cheap, boring enough that you lose weight, and all the money you save can help to pay for the little darling's college education. ;) I think I'll go check the mailbox.....

You can afford BEANS? Wow, I'm impressed!

Just pintos. Nothing fancy like black beans. :( Still no bill for rising senior DD. Oh well. I'll go cook some more pintos and wait for tomorrow's mail!
