R.I.P. Our prayers are with him and his family.

My prayers go out to this family, and all families with loved ones in the armed forces.
The recent Marine Corps Marathon, which started and ended in Arlington Cemetery, highlighted the enormous sacrifices that have been made.

The sacrifices of our military men and women are great. Sometimes, I think their families' sacrifices are even greater. With CPT Gurbisz's death, his wife lost her lover, his sister lost her younger brother, and his parents lost a much loved son.

My utmost thanks to all the men and women of our armed forces, and to their families.

You can only protect your liberties in this world by protecting the other man's freedom. You can only be free if I am free. Clarence Darrow

Thanks for posting Shogun. I count my blessings a thousands times over this evening. I forget sometimes that not all heros wear white. They are dressed in the colors of our forces. Aspen has posted the perfect quote. So grateful to those who serve.

I think all of the parents here feel this loss so acutely. I ache for the family and agree with all of you that we owe such a debt to these young men and women. We can all look forward to the time when we won't have to post this kind of sad news.

God bless CPT Gurbisz and his family.
