DVD Burner

<p>Are you using USB or Firewire? </p>

<p>I suspect that you're using USB, but I bet it's USB 1.1. USB 1.1 is extremely slow for jobs like this. You need to either purchase an IEEE 1394 Firewire card or a USB 2.0 card for your burner to go faster. </p>

<p>In addition, the link you provided says that the DVD burner handles DVD+R and not DVD-R, but you're using DVD-R media. </p>

<p>Not to sound negative, but don't get your hopes up that your first burn will turn out how you want it. The one thing I have against DVD burners is that there are so many of them that you have to tweak certain ones a lot. In addition, DVD media is also relatively expensive compared to CDs, but I guess much cheaper compared to big company movies.</p>
