E-Mail from WF?

I don't know if this is normal (or if I just have the worst luck under the Sun and somehow my application wasn't received even though I sent it in), but I have yet to receive an e-mail from Wake confirming that they have my application. I sent it in on January 14th. (I know! Really last-minute of me! :( ) Does Wake not send confirmation e-mails? By the way, I applied using the Common App. According to their site, the Supp, App and payment have all been sent.

Daughter's was sent in December, and we've still received no confirmation. I did call them before Christmas to ask if all materials were in, and they said that the secondary school report was missing. So we had our GC fax that in. I don't know if they would have notified us or not ...

if you are nervous i suggest calling to confirm they received all your materials, while awaiting ED notification we called to find out the status of my application and i only found out it was "incomplete" in late december (they actually had everything just in the wrong file)

but they are very helpful and a call should clear things up.

The only emails I received from Wake were about scheduling an interview, but never a confirmation about the application itself. I never even got an email with my admissions decision, which came in the mail about a week after I was told to expect it. So yeah. They don't email a ton.

I agree -- it's much better to call; you get faster responses and more accurate information. They're very friendly; just don't email a ton ...

Ok. Thank you. I'll call them sometime this week then. I'm not sure if my counselor has submitted all the reports he needs to, so I want to double-check with him first. Oh! By the way, I got an e-mai from WF last night about a written interview, so I guess they did get it! :)

after i did the strenuous written interview i received a letter

If you don't mind me asking, what did the letter say, sjsharkteeth? Anyone else got one that can answer my question?
