EA: Anyone hear anything yet?

So did anyone who applied EA hear anything yet?

I got the fedex last wednesda (dec 26th) and I got a 17500 trustee scholarship and an invitation to apply to the honors college

anyone else? they said i should be hearing at the end of the month

I haven't heard anything yet. I live in MA and it's my top choice. I'm so anxious.

Still nothing for me. I get my hopes up every day, but then there's nothing.

My son got his packet today. They said that they don't all go out at the same time.

i assume it's a big envelope, correct?

Ah! I applied EA and I haven't heard anything. It says that you're supposed to find out by the 31st. Is there anyway you can check online? If anyone knows let me know please!

I'm in the same boat as you tictac; I haven't heard anything yet either, and we have 5 more days of mail until the 31st.

I just found out. I was deferred into Regular Admission.
They want my 1st Semester grades mailed in and told me I'm welcome to send in any "additional" information.
I'm kinda upset because I thought I would get it. Ugh!

I still have not gotten anything. Hopefully tomorrow.

Nothing very impressive, however I must say a few things. I am currently taking a class there (Intro to Sociology), as well as my high school classes. My college counselor at my school went to USD and felt that I had a strong change for EA. It's not that USD is my "dream school" but I do like it a lot and thought I would be okay. We'll see, I'm sure you're much more qualified DBSilver

Tictac- your stats may be a bit low for USD, but you look like you have decent EC's. It may be tough for you to get into EA though.

Thanks for the response tictac. I think we're about equal.

Mine are:

I don't feel like writing the rest out. I'm hoping the prestige that my school has will give me the push I need to get in.

rejected

*, I'm *ed.

Sigh. Rejected today.

1920, 3.5 GPA, tons of AP/Honors, EXCELLENT EC's, 100+ community service, and great recs.
I'm disappointed.

Wait, flat out rejected? Not deferred?

Appeal, if you feel strongly about going. It's just EA, you have time to appeal.

You can appeal? I don't think with my credentials I could appeal, but I'm very surprised makin it rain got rejected.

What exactly is appealing?

Flat out rejected. I was deferred from SCU (Santa Clara) with those stats as well. Blehhhh.

SAT2's: Math2c 740, BioM 580 (ack)
