I have received several of those notices about billing. My son is a NMF. How did you find that out? How do you go about getting the refund?
@mammom3 I emailed the financial aid office, and they asked for a copy of the award letter. I didn’t have mine available, so they also accepted my guidance counselor’s email to prove that I was a NMSF
Is it harder to get into Maryland if you are out of state?
@stoopidfoose how bad can she be if she’s given us off this entire week lmao
@potterismylife ok you win this time
@mammom3 I called the Business Office. My son received one notification and then a second one when the refund process was completed.
Rice University waived the registration fee up front, so he didn’t need to pay at the time he sent his application. They sent an email before he applied.
@stoopidfoose Maryland does not offer deferral as a decision. You will either be admitted for the fall, admitted for the spring or not admitted. SoofDad posted a great thread that explains it more thoroughly http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-maryland-college-park/1796164-info-for-h-s-class-of-2016-umd-applicants-and-parents-decisions-and-scholarships-p1.html
I just looked at our credit card statement that we originally paid with and the $65 had been refunded last week. I hadn’t even caught it. Nice little surprise!
Accepted and College Park Scholar! OOS-NY
If I got into letters and sciences and I intended to major in cs how do I switch majors? Is it possible?
