EA applicants C/O 2020 data/verdict discussions

someone said they heard “verdicts” could be out this week? or next week? this is stressful

Well, as of right now, the admissions twitter page still has the online decisions coming out by Feb 1st, so that would be this week. They can come earlier than that (even tomorrow, hopefully), but I’d probably bet on it being during the weekend. Mail version comes the week after.

My family friend is an very involved in the UMD alum network and said they suspect decisions to be out by Thursday or Friday.

Oh I hope you are right!! Waiting…

What does it mean when it says application complete? On my account it says it was completed today.

There is a glitch of sorts and it always says the current day. I noticed recently (maybe it’s always been there but I never saw it somehow) that there is a paragraph in red on the lower right that explains this.

mollyb124 if you look to the lower right of your application it explains why. The date usually reflects today’s date.

Ohhh okay thanks!

My dad had to call the school today because we though there was a glitch with my recommendation letters this weekend but the school was not open. The lady he talked to said that decisions will be out this week definitely before Feb. 1st

Anyone else get an email for their monthly billing statement and parent portal? Is this a sign of acceptance? I didn’t log into the portal

@XCjunior2016 nope…whats ur portal say?

@adirv111 it hasn’t changed. Still “submitted”

Anyone have a housing glitch yet?

@mac1998 I hope your dad is right :slight_smile:

I think its either tomorrow or monday. Places dont like to release stuff on Fridays as their employees generally are not there to assist with the aftermath.

Or they release on Friday and run so don’t HAVE to deal with immediate reactions!

If you get deferred can you edit your application or no? I heard somewhere that you can

@stoopidfoose cries @ ur username

@potterismylife it’s the truth

@XCjunior2016 my son received that notification and it was a refund for his application fee. This is done with National Merit semifinalists/finalists, National Hispanic Scholars and National Achievement Program awardees
