I'm sure this topic has come up in a previous thread at some point, so I apologize for being repititious. However, does anyone know how Georgetown notifiies early applicants of their decision? As in by email, online, phone, or just a regular letter in the mail? Also, is there a specific date the information becomes available?

A regular letter in the mail. The official notification date is December 15th.

so will we get this letter ON december 15 or will it be mailed out on that date? i think i read somewhere that we can call in to get our decisions instead?

They send the letter out on the 15th and if it doesn't come for a few days you can call. I called, most nerve wrecking call of my life.

Can the EA application status be checked online? The admissions office said they'd mail out postcards if anything was missing, but we didn't receive anything. Has anyone gotten any notification?

i haven't gotten any notification of anything missing either. Unfortunately, Georgetown doesn't have online notification or an online status check....

Letters are sent out before Dec. 15 so that it arrives on or a day or two before the 15th.

I am a sophomore at Georgetown and I can say that 2 years ago, I got my EA letter on the 15th. So I am assuming that the admissions office will send them out early again this year so that they reach your mailboxes on the 15th. Good luck to all!
