ea decisions

Did you all do Common App?

hey my stats are
1300 SATs 710m 590cr
4/250
102.2 GPA
I'm pretty sure my scores kept me from getting any more $$
A lot a great leadership positions
Great EC's
a really good essay
and I'm assuming great recs

and to whoever mentioned Villanova - I don't know how it's reputation fares when being compared. I mean obviously villanova has more of a name and you will have better job opportunities, but you will succeed at whichever you fit in better at. I personally fit in at nova better and got in there EA. I am deciding if St. Joe's generous scholarship will be enough to get me to attend.

I know my tour guide mentioned that a lot of those at St. Joe's got into Nova but decided for financial reasons to go to St. Joe's. She mentioned that she has some very good friends at Nova and that there wasn't much of a difference. My brother goes to Nova and he's actually at St. Joe's quite a bit as his roommate's girlfriend goes there. Don't know if that even answered your question lol

Still no letter! I'm getting angry..

agreed. i cant handle it any more im so nervous

i really think they should have sent out every letter on the same day, this isnt fair..

This is ridiculous. Everyone I know who applied got in already. They told me mine would be coming today. I only live an hour away!

Can anyone tell me what type of person would fit in at St. Joe's? Someone above said they would 'fit in' better at Villanova.

I really liked St. Joe's when I toured. I just didn't get a real sense for the student body.

I am very psyched that I got a scholarship, because that is the only reason I could go there. I am wondering how hard it is to keep a 3.2, and whether that is realistic or not. I attend a very rigorous independent school, and have taken all honors and only 3 aps.

My take on St. Joe's was that it was Nova just slightly less preppy, if that means anything to you. lol The people I know that go there are very down to earth people who are serious about doing well in school (one's pre-med) but their classes don't consume them.

and I think like any school it depends on your major as to how hard the classes are, but I think if you're at a rigorous school and taking honors and ap classes you'll be fine.

I just got in today but I know nothing about the school. How's the location/campus?

accepted today!! so excited to attend in the fall :) it was a wait but a great xmas gift!

Everyone got their letter but me haha. This is messed up.

Finally got it today! Got accepted!
I got scholarship but I'm still thinking ST.JOES might be too expensive. Is it worth it?

does anyone know when we hear about the honors program?

Spicegurl, I am thinking u will be fine here. I took Aps in:
Euro Hist
World Hist
Bio
Psych
American Hist
Macro
Comp and Literature
Spanish
and just about honors in everything else
If you keep up with your work you can do the 3.2. It is $$$$$worth the effort.
Some people seem to dress preppy, some dont. Good mix of kids, alot from the East Coast

where else did everyone apply?!
