EA Decisions

I know that it says that we can check our application status/decision through our online accounts, but will they also send it out via mail?

I don’t know how they’ll do it this year, but last year we got an email linking us to the website where we could see the decision, and then a couple days later got a fancy envelope with a decision letter and a few other papers.

They will absolutely send you something in the mail; at the very least, they’ll give you some swag and some more brochures to try to increase yield. Last year, I got a scarf! :)

Hope the decision comes in December?

im so excited. Considering waiting for the mail just because its more suspenseful

Lol, I’m probably going to be checking my account over a hundred times that time period. Just making sure I get my souvenir of a rejection letter…

^^^Does everyone get a scarf?! :O

^ I think only the EA ppl got a scarf, while the RD got a shirt (?) last year. The swag for this cycle will probably be different, but still awesome. It’s a cheap way for the admissions office to increase yield. ;)

As artful as it may seem to some, I think it’s pretty nice.

When do they usually send the scarves or t-shirts?

i thought some people got shirts for sending in their sat scores o.o

that would be too expensive

Lol, this thread is hilarious. I most likely gonna be deferred… and so the agony will continue. It’ll be disappointing tho, given that I put a lot of effort into the Find x essay. -.-

They sent out free tees to any student who sent in their SAT scores well before the application date (I think it was spring/summer prior to application, so a while back).

The first date people start to hear back is around Dec 13, correct?

I thought it was December 15, according to the website.

Oh I see (about the shirts). Yup it’s 15th. Anyone planning to stay up all night on that day? :)

I definitely will…

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Not going to. Twelve hour difference between here and the US. Would be Midday right here when application comes out hahaha

what time exactly on the 15th? thanks!

Guys, decisions are usually released in the afternoon (for all schools), so staying up is kind of silly…
