EA? Please help!

Hey yall,
I'm debating between going EA to Georgetown or ED to UVA, so I'm posting on both boards. Both are my top choices and they're both reaches, grr! Please tell me what you think my chances are! Also, I've heard going EA to Georgetown does not help you significantly, so should I wait and do regular decision with a possibly higher GPA and almost definitely higher SAT scores (i'm retaking in Oct.)? Here are my stats-
Very competitive prep school in NC (ranked like 10th in the country by Wall Street Journal...)
3.75 UW (school does not rank)
Right now: 730 V, 650 M, 680 W
National Merit Commended Scholar
750 SAT II US History
740 SAT II Lit
590 SAT II Latin (ugh I know)
5 in AP US
4 in AP Latin
Very challenging coarseload..will graduate with 6 APs.
ECs: intern with John Kerry campaign, first intern for NC Attorney General, many hours of political volunteering, competitive horseback riding since I was 7, President of Red Cross Club, and Editor on school paper for 3 years
Very good recs and essays...

What do yall think? Thanks so much!!

Anyone? I need all the help I can get because I have to decide between going early to UVA or Georgetown by the end of next week! So please help!

Do EA to Georgetown. It's not binding, and it gives you 2 chances to get in, since they don't reject anyone for the EA round. If you don't get in, you just get deferred, and your application is completely reevaluated, so you actually do have a slightly higher chance due to that.

but realize you obviously cant do ED to UVA then...

Since you're out of state, admission to UVA seems less likely than admission to Georgetown at this juncture.
