EA: University of the Pacific Freshmen 2016

I applied EA has anyone heard anything?

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Has anyone received their Early Action admission?

I got my acceptance email, and I’m from California. Good luck to everyone!

@manduhluv what major did you apply for?

@jjwoo97 pre-pharmacy!

@manduhluv me too!! But I haven’t heard back

According to their website, Early Action notifications come by mid-January

http://www.pacific.edu/Admission/Undergraduate/Applying/Additional-Admission-Information/Early-Action.html

I guess it’s first come first serve basis. The rolling admission still applies to Early Action and I sent my app in like one day before the deadline so I guess I’m gonna be the last to hear from them.

@manduhluv when did you submit your app?

@xexvc0302 I submitted October 30.

I haven’t heard anything yet either but I applied on Nov 12 so I’ll probably hear from them around the second week of January :confused:

Yeah, they are slower than most other colleges for EA…

@snowbunnybug have you heard anything yet? I heard on the 8th and was accepted, I’m curious if you have heard as well!

@melonsqueezy Yeah I believe it was last week. Accepted!

I applied october 31st and still haven’t heard back

@jjwoo97 I applied Nov. 14th and still haven’t heard back either so… Feel like I got rejected.

You all should hear back soon! I am a current student and I also applied EA and I heard back around late January and some hear back around early February! You will get an email and a letter in the mail!

@Nicoleriri Alright thanks for the info. I didn’t apply for Early Action though, I applied for their accelerated programs. They do practice rolling admission and I submitted my application Nov. 14 (their deadline was Nov. 15). Funny thing is my friend who applied for Regular Decision got in (business major) today and I still haven’t heard back yet, which is weird because if they did follow rolling admission, my application should have been reviewed way before.

If we get deferred do they tell us or no?
@xexvc0302 i applied october 31st but people who applied after me got results back. I applied for the pre pharm program

Oh yeah well I did not apply for the Pre-Health majors like Pre-pharm and Pre-dent. Pacific takes extra care and look into those because those are a big deal here and they just so many applicants for those! So those take longer! You will hear back by March 15ish
