<p>Last spring Stanford gave us a paper 2006 application that said to include the photo. I assume if you mail in the application you can send the photo. It seems odd to me that it's not consistent. It's not that hard to tell people send in a jpg. max. size x" by y".</p>
<p>I think they changed the prompt from last year's, because I heard some rumblings about that on the boards.. this year the prompt was apparently more "describe the picture" rather than simply "explain why it is significant," and thus no picture was necessary.</p>

<p>The prompt this year is to imagine a photo you have or would like to have and tell us why it is meaningful to you.</p>
