If you transfer from a CC with about 65-70 credits, what is the fastest way to finish up your degree at a UC? How long would it take?

That totally depends on your major and which UC. Each school and each major has their own requirements.

UCLA-philosophy. Is there a website with this info, or would I need to contact the school?

Check the UCLA website for your major. There will be a list of classes to take once you transfer. It should tell you how many units of a specific course type you need. Also check assist.org for the necessary prerequisites.

Got it, thanks!

Depends on major.

In general if you have 70 Semester units, you’d need 50 more semester units(let’s say 55 due to inefficiencies) at a minimum.

This could be done in 2 summers and 2 semesters(or 2 summers and 3 quarters on the quarter system).

VERY careful course planning would be required, as would major selection.

I’d advise against it. If you MUST, just do 4 semesters and do the last half time.
Most hiring happens Fall senior year. They expect you to have done a good internship or two.

Ideally you’d do an internship before you transfer and one the summer before your senior year.

It isn’t worth sacrificing 10-30k in pay every year for the rest of your life because you wanted to rush.
