the actstudent.org website says multiple choice score will be posted online early this week. Does anyone know how detailed this information is? Will it just tell you how many wrong on each section, or will there be your score out of 36 for each section? Any thoughts appreciated. thanks

It will only show you composite scores for each section and subscores from each section and then your total composite score(1-36). It will not tell you what you got wrong and will most likely not include your writing scores.

thanks a lot man.

And you'll have to pay to check it online, if I'm not mistaken.

I had to pay $8 to see my scores online. What's even more lame is that if you close out of the scores window and try to see your scores again in the early window period, you have to pay $8 AGAIN! ACT doesn't even have the ability to check if you've paid before. Total cr*p. At least SAT doesn't make you pay.

I agree ACT should really consider updating their website big time. Their website looks like a product of the mid '90s.

yea... but the sat's come out 2 weeks late... not 2 weeks early

I know it says to start looking for early scores April 19th, but do you think that the scores will be available late tonight before tomorrow, and if not, then tomorrow morning?

I kind of think it's a rip-off. It's why I'm not doing early. It doesn't include your writing section, which could have an effect on your scores, and I can handle waiting a little longer to get the full thing

Well the SAT 2 week delay was just for March. Usually, it does go online in 2 weeks for FREE WITH Writing scores!

writing scores do not affect your composite

so is anybody going to pay to check scores early?

I'm probably going to check my scores early simply because I don't think I can wait a few weeks to receive them. :)

wait, your writing score has no affect whatsoever on your composite score???
what is the point of taking it then???

Taking the ACT Test plus Writing adds an additional Writing and English subscore to your test. However, it does not factor into the Composite score of your ACT. The main point to taking the ACT plus Writing is to have an essay on a standardized test.

I took the ACT Plus Writing for two main reasons. I already had a good score on the old (no writing) SAT I and didn't want to potentially screw it up with a bad new SAT I score. Also, I wanted to try the ACT. Thus, I killed two birds with one pencil.

Just checked, Early ACT scores are avaliable.

31 for my first try. I'm happy but will be retaking to see if I can reach my goal of 33. :)

Matt, what were your sub-scores? I just accessed D's (with permission) and they are truly Bizzzzz-arre. She had a 32 comp for her first time, but she had a 31 eng, 36 math, 34 reading, and a 26 science. I'm running them over to her now. I'm going to ask her if she fell asleep during the science test. LOL. Dang, I know y'all said the science was rough but...that is an aberration. (She thought she had blown the cloud/dewpoint one. I guess she did.)

32 - English/Math/Reading 28 - Science

That fits, thanks. That will make her feel better that someone else had the same pattern.
