Early Action Acceptance

deep breaths and sun salutations
They obviously would not say that if I was all-out rejection. I think Im gonna visit my councilor tommorrow about this.

DD received her EA acceptance just before the holiday break two years ago...sometime between the 15 and 24th of December. Truthfully I don't remember the exact date and neither does she. BUT here's an offer. She is a student ambassador at SCU and if any of you get accepted, she will gladly answer questions about the school or meet with you if you go for accepted student days in the spring (she actually works those days anyway...and if you've called admissions on a Sat morning, you may have gotten her on the phone). She did this with a couple of CC families last year. Good luck to you all...and do let us know when you hear.

that so nice of you thumper1! We might just take you up on that. Here are my adjusted stats.

Do you think because it's Jesuit they'll look heavier on that?

tdanielle-- what are your stats?

I got an email saying that early action applicants do not need to submit mid year reports. So, I am not sure why that says that for you guys. Are you sure that it isnt the transcripts for your other years?

i have not received any emails from santa clara- hope thats not bad.

i don't think you're defered

then why do they want our mid yrs do you think? =( our gpa compared to yours (bretjohnson90) is lower...when i called and asked because i had received the same email as zwilliams, they said that once i submitted my mid year report which probably will not be until february, i will find out. but i dont know if that is their way of trying not to give anything away whether i got in or not.

i have no idea, i don't understand why they would defer you. your GPA is a little low, but come on SCU. Hmm, guess we'll find out soon. Did you ask if they had sent letters yet? lol

haha no, but i should have..g/l to all of you guys!

No letter today, you?

same here =/

No letter here, maybe tomorrow. Seems like they're changing their website up for the class of 2012 though!

I checked my ecampus and it says outstanding items, 7th semester transcript. Does that mean I was deferred?

I got the letter today. I got some dean's scholar award, but the dollar value wasn't there (It'll come mid january supposedly).
