@sunshineee97 Thank you very much for the update.

Does anyone know if scholarship information also comes in the acceptance letter?

@TXSenioe SMU does include scholarship information in their acceptances. If you qualified for academic scholarship, it will be included in your envelope (the exception to this rule being the Hunt and Pres scholarships, which have a review process in the spring).

Thanks

When will I hear!!!

did anyone else receive an email from their regional person regarding sent out decisions…?

I did not. Where do you live?

no email here.

EA was mailed yesterday. Check out @SMUAdmission for a neat pic of all the envelopes!

@perunalove, thank you for the update! Won’t be long now!

Thanks as well for the update. Re: that picture, that’s a LOT of work! I remember working at my college’s admissions office 30 years ago when I was a student … I don’t know how much of that process is automated these days but back then it involved a lot of long tables and very exact collection of the contents of each envelope, perfect matching of envelope labels with names (one off could cause dozens to have to be re-done) and then pre-sorting to decrease the mailing costs.

They still do every single bit of it by hand… folding the envelopes, wrapping the ribbons around the scholarship letters, placing the labels just so… It takes them weeks. But they’re beautiful. And the admits certainly deserve it!

Peruna … and I’m sure that is noticed! Nicely done!

Hoping some of those envelopes make their way up to Minnesota sometime soon!

Accepted Today!
I live in Grand Prairie and applied EA.

@TxSenioe Congrats!!! stats please

@PerunaLove thanks for the update! any idea how long it should take to get to California? EA

Wait where can I find the pictures of the envelopes? Is it on their website?

@makk55 usually about 3 days. First Class mail does not have a guaranteed time frame though.

So basically if you are lucky you’ll see it tomorrow, if not probably on Saturday, if not almost certainly on Monday… but STILL not guaranteed!
