Accepted EA2. 35 ACT (35 on all sections as well), 97 average (school doesn’t weight, give class rank, etc.), with math beyond high school level & some other college courses. SATs 730 CR, 770 Math, 790 Writing. Good SAT subject scores. No sports, just a few ECs, but very dedicated in one of them. Majors: math & physics, not engineering. Waiting to hear about merit award/financial aid.

Just found out that I got the $22K Presidential Scholarship.

Accepted EA round 2.
SAT: 2070 (M-740 CR-630 W-700)
Rank: 13/277

Accepted EA2 with a 22k presidential scholarship(: ACT 34, Ranked 9 in class of 400. Full diploma IB student, captain of Varsity swim team, conducted original research, and started multiple non-profits raising over $10,000 in each. Applied into Mechanical Engineering program

Son also received 22K scholarship, but that still leaves 40K per year!

Received 10,700 WPI scholarship and 11,500 WPI university award so 22k total.

Just found out today, got accepted!! Woohoo!
Wonder if international students are eligible for that 22k president scholarship you guys are talking about. Whats the criteria??

@CLong04 I think I got it because I’m valedictorian and they guarantee merit for that.

22K presidential, but only 1.3K for “WPI Scholarship”. Cross WPI off list.

When do decisions come out? I was deferred from EA round 1. They say by April 1, but any update?

Last year Regular Decision was announced on Fri March 20 according to older threads in this forum. I plan to watch the WPI Admissions twitter feed as they announce in advance the date of decisions. Good luck to you - my DS was also deferred from EA1.
