<p>No… in fact, all Common App requires (as per what my son’s account says right now for UNC’s page" is that you need to ASSIGN your recommenders to the individual school before you submit the common app and supplement. SO assign them, and the common app system will still allow teachers to submit their recs into the system after the deadline because lots of schools allow for recs to be submitted later than the application deadline (UNC is one of them, they allow 2-3 weeks)</p>
