There's still a few weeks until February 1st, but was hoping the letter might come early. Has anyone who applied EA II heard back yet?

Hi CapeCodLady8,

Our EAII decisions will be mailed January 26. Sorry to make you wait another week or so… But I’m glad to see you are excited to get your letter!

Thanks so much! Awaiting my son’s decision :)

My son received an acceptance letter today- He is very excited!!

My son was deferred. Quite a blow and very disappointing. He had to change classes at the beginning of the school year and received a C in a class, as a result of the change in levels [honors to cp]. Knew it would be glaring on College apps, but had hoped that given it wasn’t in anything related to his intended major it would have been ‘forgiven’, given his good grades in all of his other classes. Naviance doesn’t account for those sorts of things.

ps: Mainehsmom, I meant to wish you and your son congrats, sorry. Receiving the small envelope sort of edged me off my game! Good luck~ CCL

My daughter got her acceptance letter today FOR EA II decisions! St. Mike’s is her FIRST choice, so she is thrilled. Does anyone know when they send merit scholarship information?

CapeCodLady8

If you would like to call me in the office tomorrow I’d be glad to go over your son’s file with you so that we can look at the reasons he got deferred and how he can improve things for when we review his file next month.

Call 800-SMC-8000 and ask for Mallory.

Barky5 and Mainehsmom - tell your daughter and son congrats for me! Merit scholarship information will be sent within the next couple weeks.

Yay…after a long wait from being deferred from Early Action, my son was accepted today!! Hurray. Can’t wait to return for Accepted Students Day! :)

Congrats, CapeCodLady. My son applied RD and received his acceptance letter today as well. I am really looking forward to Accepted Students Day, as we have not yet SEEN Saint Michael’s! Our older son has a close friend who is a recent graduate and he loved his time there.

Congrats to the sons of both CapeCodLady8 and dreamer6!

Thanks Dreamer. Congrats to your son as well!
Thanks again, Mallory. I checked out the link and will have to share it with my son so he can see all the great videos and information. Are there always alot of whistles at Orientation?? lol

Yes, there are lots of whistles. The O-Leaders like them a little TOO much… but they add a fun spirit to the day.
