<p>Hi, I am about to apply to University of the Pacific, and if I do early action I will get a reply by around Jan. Is there an expiration date on when you have to accept?</p>

<p>Most colleges make you decide I think May 1st like RD candidates have to.</p>
<p>The good thing about EA is that you don<code>t have to choose to go to the college if you don</code>t want to.</p>
<p>If you really really want to go to UOP (first choice), then I strongly suggest you take EA.</p>
