Early Childhood Education Degree

Hi!
So i’ve posted about an online degree before BUT i’ve since changed what I wanted to do. I’ve decided that I wanted to get into childcare and though I love working in a daycare, I’ve decided coming up with lesson plans and leading actual lessons was not my strong suit nor what I actually see myself doing. I decided that I wanted to become a nanny. Now some people would argue that it’s not the best choice and nanny-ing isn’t a career but its what I think I want to do! SO! that said, I don’t actually need any real qualifications for this job however during my research I found that the more qualifications you have, the more you get paid USUALLY. So I was thinking that I didn’t want to spend 3 more years in college wasting time (especially when fafsa took away my work-study ;. but I did want to be able to say I have a degree so I thought maybe taking classes online while I get y other nanny certifications (cpr and first aid) ad well as getting my license squared away and figuring out a car and working on getting into the field ( all the while working while I do this) but being able to take the classes online. I’m sorry if that made 0 sense, but I’d like to know if my plan seems okay. I want some other opinions before I bring this up with my parents…My mom certainly won’t be a fan and I don’t really care, I’d like to have my plan together first. Any advice? Thanks!
