<p>I want to noe also pilebay. I got an SAt score of 1510/2400 and a 22 on ACT. is your SAT out of 2400? I might have so hope to get in if it is. And post your EC's, etc. Was your essay your chance booster? I spent over a month on mine and hope it is my booster. I did ID though.</p>
<p>My SAT was out of a 1600. I don't know if this matters but my English, Reading, and Writing scores were very very high for the ACT. The only thing bringing my composite down was the science and math. And I applied to the school of humanities.</p>

Since 10th grade I have earned close to 1,000 hours community service and have held tons of leadership positions especially during my senior year</p>
<p>Excellent letters of Rec included an extra one from my psych teacher who graduated from Harvard and my essay was pretty darn good as well</p>
<p>I honestly think the only thing that got me in was
1) the fact that I am from a small island off the coast of mainland Alaska
2) I have spent my summers commercial fishing ever since 8th grade
3) Spent the first 16 years of my life in the Alaskan wilderness with no electricity, phones, roads, neighbors, or anything modern. Really really pushed that in my essay and throughout my application.</p>
<p>I would just like to say thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout this process (especially JimmyEatWorld711). People have been very kind and supportive and I have never gotten a rude comment.</p>

<p>Crazy scientists, commercial fishermen, pianists--can it get any better? I'm so glad I was accepted to Rice. Anywhere else, I wouldn't be around this kind of diversity. I LOVE YOU RICE!</p>
