I got deferred ED 1, put into regular decision when will I hear of a final decision? Also do you have a better chance of being accepted if deferred from ED 1?

I would apply to other schools as well if I were you. Only a small percentage of deferred and waitlist get accepted according to my research. Your best odds was early decision I. What is your intended major? Do you mind sharing your stats? Knowing this would help others figure out your odds better. Sorry to hear you didn’t get accepted right off. Good luck to you!

They never mention the roll of full pay applicants

If you are deferred to regular decision you will hear at the same time as all of the other regular decision applicants and be compared against that pool of applicants. I believe it is is exaggerated that Early decision acceptance rates are that much higher. First take into account Atheletes that mostly get in early decision. Then take into account all of the deferrals to regular decision. Correct me if I am wrong but I don’t believe that these people are counted in the early decision acceptance rate, they are counted in the regular decision acceptance rates, only the ED rejections are counted in ED rates.
