Early decision interview!

I'm an international student, and I justed received an interview request for next week!
I'm so nervous. :(

How critical is the interview in the admissions process, and how do you suggest I should prepare??

Have anyone else interviewed yet??

My daughter interviewed with an alum last week. I was surprised because, at that time, she had submitted only the ED agreement. It was an hour long at the company the interviewer runs.

I have an interview this Sunday. I’ve made a list of possible questions my interviewer may ask and my responses to those questions. I find it helpful to know generally what I’m going to say so I avoid stuttering and saying “um…”

My D says she was asked what excites her most about going to college in general and, on the flip side, what least excites her. Other than that, the conversation seemed to just flow naturally. When my D said she taught herself Morse code and often leaves coded messages for her sibling, the interviewer had her demonstrate on the office white board.

I just had my interview an hour ago. It was so easy going. The alumni are really just Dartmouth grads who loved their college experience. They don’t want to scare us a way. They just want to sell us on the school and to find out what we’re really passionate about.

I should probably find out more about the school and prepare the questions in advance.
Thanks for all the replies!!
