Early Decision, Late Scores--Help!

Hi! So I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't seem to find any threads about it. I really, really want to apply ED to Columbia University, however, I need to take an additional SAT subject test in November, as I've only taken one so far and Columbia requires two (I'm already using the October testing date to retake the reasoning test). Obviously, the ED application deadline is Nov 1 for the Common App. Is it still possible to submit my application ED with a missing score, explicitly state that I'm registered to take the test, and then send it in at a later date, i.e. the moment I receive it at the end of Nov?

Thank you so much!

Yes I pretty sure you can but the score might not make it there in time. However first the most important question is what is your SAT score?

2120 at the moment. I’m determined to raise it to 2200+ this October.

I would highly suggest you contact the college. Don’t depend upon an answer here that may or may not be correct this year. Just so you know, the college website says:
[Required Standardized Testing | Columbia University Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.studentaffairs.columbia.edu/admissions/applications/firstyear/testing)
You may take standardized tests as late as November for Early Decision and January for Regular Decision.

I literally just found that right before I checked back on this thread! Thank you so much for the link, though! And yeah, I just wanted a bit of pointing in the right direction. Thanks to you as well, ZombieDante!

Great that you found it…sometimes it is hard finding info about colleges. You’re welcome.
