Early Decision question

<p>George Washington is my number one school, as it has been for a very long time. I want to apply Early Decision, and I was wondering if an ED acceptance can be turned down because of financial aid? </p>

<p>GW accepts the Common Application; its rules include:

Should a student who applies for financial aid not be offered an award that makes attendance possible, the student may decline the offer of admission and be released from the Early Decision commitment.
