early decision stern

how much does your chance increase for stern if you apply early and what is the average gpa and SAT/SATII you should have for stern (ed and rd)?

Got this from the Stern site.

Admissions
Undergraduate College
Average SAT score: 1423
Average GPA: 3.77

do you know if the gpa is weighted or not? and if they are more lenient for early decision?

its always unweighted

a little more lenient for early decision, but not like the equivalent of 100+ SAT increase like you may have heard. You also get more financial aid ED at nyu due to the weird way NYU does it.

so if i have a 3.73 gpa unweighted i have 23 honors/ap classes is that ok?

and how do you know nyu gives more financial aid for ED they were saying you don't have any other schools to compare so its probably less aid...

your rank means more than your gpa, gpa is bullcrap due to inconsistencies between schools with grading. Just make sure your top 10%, top 20% if its a top tier private school.

how much does stern care about extracurriculars? i heard that its all stat based due to the high amount of applicants
