<p>I was a little confused about how many schools you can apply early decision to, I read online and some people say as many as you want and others say only one. Could someone clear this up for me?</p>

<p>I applied to two schools early decision. So it may vary by school - you can probably easily check their website or call and ask them their policy. Then you’ll definitely get the right answer for your particular schools.</p>
<p>ED is binding. EA is not binding. ED is usually one school only. Don’t know what samadhi did. Very unusual.</p>
<p>Only one ED application is allowed. Most schools permit as many EA apps as you want, but some have restrictions. In any case, check with each “early” school for its rules.</p>
<p>A student can legally apply to two schools ED but saying that is a bit of a semantic game. A student can only apply to one ED school at a time … if a student is rejected or deferred by a school in the EDI round they could then apply ED again to a different school in the EDII round.</p>
