So I applied to SMU early decision and I am dying to know whether I got in or not. When is it reasonable to expect a response? I cannot find anywhere online a date for when they release their decision.
Website says ED decisions come out mid-December. At least last year and prior years, SMU sent out decisions via snail mail and I suspect that will continue unless someone has said otherwise. Accepted students get a really nice envelope and acceptance materials. Just go back to posts from about a year ago. Patience is tough on stuff like this, but you just need to wait it out!
My daughter received an email last week saying they’d let students know decisions on the portal on December 11 at 7 p.m. CST.
