Early PSAT Scores?

I'm a junior who took the 2012 PSAT this October, but for some reason I got this random email from collegeboard telling me to prepare for the December SAT by:

Learn from explanations of the PSAT/NMSQT questions you
missed — the SAT has the same question types.

They gave me an access code so I went on the website and apparently I got a 173 on the 2011 PSAT which I never took? I even looked at the questions to confirm that they weren't the same as the 2012 PSAT.

I got the same email and it was my PSAT score from 2011
However, I don’t know why yours came up when you never took the 2011 one

Should I talk to collegeboard about it? The score is pretty bad…

Haha I received this email as well and got really excited until I realized it was just last years’ scores :(

So should I bother talking to collegeboard about the random fake score?

I would if I were you. You don’t want scores that are not yours floated around!

hi… i know this may not be relevant to the topic…
but i was wondering if it was useful to do the PSAT and if it’s not a waste of time ?

If you are near the 99percentile its worth your time because you could get scholarship money. Otherwise its only useful as a loose predictor of your SAT score.
