I am taking PSO classes right now, and by the end of the school year I should have about 18 or 19 credit hours. I’ve read that to be eligible to transfer from a regional campus to the main campus you need to have 30 credit hours. My question is if I complete 30 credit hours by the end of the first semester would I be able to transfer to main campus come second semester, or would I have to wait until my sophomore year?

I can’t seem to find this answer anywhere. Any help?

I know the answer to this…You have to complete 30 hrs at the regional campus - credits earned in high school do not count towards the 30. My D graduated this past spring with 19 credits hours that were able to transfer to OSU. She enrolled full time for Summer Semester and after that first semester at the branch was able to take classes on Main campus as long as she took equal or more classes at the branch. You can only take some classes at Main after you complete a semester at the branch. She commuted to the branch for summer classes and then moved to an apartment near main campus and takes 4 classes on main and drives to Delaware for 4 classes. She has just been approved for her campus transfer effective in Jan for Spring semester. It’s a crazy way to start college but OSU was her first choice and it worked out for her. She is already a sophomore due to her Dual enrollment credits and the 15 hrs she took this summer. Good luck to you!
