Easier admission to private schools because of recession?

I have heard that it is easier to get into expensive private schools these days because less people are going due to the bad economy and high tuition.
Does anyone else agree with this? If so, will it be substantially easier?

Thank you,
Chris

You could say that, but with public schools it’s the definitely the complete opposite with huge cuts

I think I read somewhere that it is surprisingly the opposite. In fact, the number of applicants of increased, especially to elite schools such as those of the Ivy League.
Also, I thought that I would point out that the national recession ‘officially’ ended some time ago.

The number of applicants is increasing each year, so it’s actually getting much harder to get in.
