Easier classes senior year?

Hi guys, basically my prospective senior year schedule looks something like this

AB Calc
AP Lit
AP Comp
AP Human Geo
AP Stat (possibly AP euro depending on schedule conflicts)
Hon. Physics
Hon. Latin IV-Vergil

But having had time to reflect on my course load over the summer I'm beginning to doubt my ability to be successful with this schedule, and I'm seriously considering dropping Physics and taking something easier and more enjoyable like 'Introduction to Law' or 'Creative Writing'. Another potential option is for me to take a specialty study hall type period in order to write a research paper.

Do you think that, given the rest of my schedule, it would be acceptable to make this change? Physics is generally regarded as the most strenuous science class offered at my school (arguably more difficult than many of the AP sciences), and I feel like dropping it would lift a huge burden from my shoulders and allow me to do better in my other classes.

Thanks

Colleges aren’t unreasonable. They don’t expect you to take 5 AP classes (though you are) or skip lunch period. They don’t want you to go through your work like a robot. They want you to be reflective about your reading and class discussions.

Taking a schedule of basket weaving, intermediate tanning, pig Latin (not the real language), deep breathing, and video game mastery would be a problem. Adding an interesting elective to a heavy academic schedule shouldn’t be.

Only caution: if you think you want science or technical major in college, then you may need the background in or credit for physics.
