easier way to studying...

now i dont want to sound like the ultimate slacker and all but isnt there a set of DVDs or VHS tapes that explain some material one would need to know for tests such as the SAT II US HIS... i mean we watch these movies in class that are basically history lectures in themselves and i was swondering if anyone knows of a set of movies for any subjects that companies come out with to help students with subject tests...

just wondering.

There are none that I know of, but interesting idea.

if i do well...i will try to make one...especially for AP USH or SAT II US..cause im really enjoying the reading for some reason...

MarkSW go see a doctor immediately.

parikhs LOL.

HAHAHA...parikhs-you're great.
i was just thinking one day if there's a series of movies that would help or something (besides watching the history channel 24/7)...you know?

i mean i can't be the first one to think about something like this..there HAS to be something out there..

i guess for now i'll stick with my REA review book and my 1200page US History textbook.

REA is all you need. Its only 200 something pages.

Yeah, unless your passionate about history of course... (whata weirdo ;-))

hahaha........

really? REA is all you need? for what score?? it won't get you perfect 800 right..?

lol

I'm pretty sure REA is overkill

sorry, what is REA?

Sparknotes is a miracle book for SAT II U.S. History.

"really? REA is all you need? for what score?? it won't get you perfect 800 right..?"

WoW...i got a 750 with REA so yeah it will

lol...just cause i have a small nic for history. dont make fun of me...lol..actually i like biology better than history...and i really wanna be a doctor...how odd...well anyway... ive been reading the REA book and find it does a good job of summarizing. The tests are also very helpful and if you find yourself needing to study last minute...this book is amazing since the answers are reviewed well on each test and thats probably all you need to memorize. But, I would recommend that a person studying for this test look at REA and read the points...and go more in depth with a book, since it gives more reasons and research about a certain topic given. I am recently looking at historyteacher.net and it seems a pretty good site. I would take advantage of the quizzes.

o for the historyteacher.net i was referring to APUSH, but you can still use the site for more complementary studying
