Easiest Courses at Brown?

Alright, I’m a freshman premed, and I need to know RIGHT NOW what are the easiest courses at Brown so I can get all As during this upcoming semester? Thank you ladies and gents.

Gotta love that Open Curriculum.

wait...RIGHT NOW?!?!?!?!?!

Yes, RIGHT NOW...

easy is pretty relative. good thing i really don't base the classes I pick on what I think my grade will be.

come on tnb19, don't you know that at Brown we have absolutely no flexibility in our class selections? Reading period is the first 2 weeks BEFORE classes start, right?

Studying Stud, wolfmanjack is right that easy is a very relative term. For me, Neuro 1 was by far the easiest class I've taken at Brown, and I know that many would disagree with me whereas some of the "gut classes" at Brown don't sound like they'd be particularly easy.

Historically though, the easiest classes are:

engin 9
Russian Lit (I honestly have no idea what the course number is, or if it's in the slavic studies or english or comp lit dept)
rocks for jocks (i believe that's geo 5)
math 5 (I didn't even know this class existed until I found out one of my friends was in it. I'm pretty sure 95% of brown students wouldn't believe you if you told them this was a class)
chem 10 has to be easy given that anyone with any chem knowledge places out of it

I don't know which of those are fall vs. spring classes. Don't come back saying you can't find those classes, obviously they aren't in banner codes. If you can't figure out how to convert them to banner codes then I don't think you'll be getting As in them anyway.

P.S. You sound like a huge ******. Why go to a challenging school if all you care about is getting a 4.0?

Studying Stud has posts going on Johns Hopkins and UC Berkeley sites, asking for advice regarding courses as he's an incoming pre-med freshman.

figures with a name like that. so bogus sounding.
