Hi, I am going to UF as a freshman starting in the fall. I know for certain I want to go to law school, and everyone I have spoken to says to get into a top 14 law school you need a great GPA and great LSAT score. What is the easiest major/ easiest classes to take at UF to ensure a high GPA? Thank you!!
First, find a major you’ll enjoy and could be something you may want to do other than law. Your plans could change.
You’ll want to avoid the most rigorous majors, but then again, pairing up a law degree with engineering (patent law) or accounting (Tax law), for example, can lead to a very successful career in law.
Otherwise look at a liberal arts major, one that will help develop your research, writing, speaking, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Lots of choices. If you’re interested in sports, then Sports Management. Specializing in sports (not as an agent, but as a lawyer) can be another possible path.
Think about these types of synergies. However, it all starts by selecting a major you like.
Good Luck!
