Hi.
I am applying to West Point
I am wondering if anyone knows what the easiest majors to get into are or if West Point even takes what major you want into account.

I dont think it matters at all … Having some significant expereince with admissions, I have never hears this considered.

Men’s Football

^^^
LoL
USMA or USNA?

They don’t ask. You get to pick 1 of the 45 majors later after you get in.

“Men’s Football”

nice, Aspen, nice.

aspen and shogun,

Sure miss you guys!! Hope your Lt’s are doing well.

Momoftwins,

Our son is doing great. I’ll send you and Shogun an update.

Hard to believe its been 5 years since our kids, and us, went through the R-Day ordeal. At that time the demanding 4 years at West Point and onerous 5 year active duty commitment seemed like an eternity. Now, that 5 year active duty commitment is providing an income to our kids that is the envy of the Ivy League grads.

Ja–same here momoftwins—our LT is enjoying bee-bopping about Europe on her weekends.

Got your updates and will send mine soon.

In the meantime, I couldn’t help but sneak a peek at the R-Day photos last week. So familiar. It seems like yesterday we were looking for our Waldo’s. Aspen, you’re so right. The years just zipped by. I have a hard time believing they’ve been in the real Army for a year now.

As far as majors go, you can major in whatever you want. There is no selection process that I know of. I chose law and that was that. I would choose whatever interests you. Remember your branch has nothing to do with your major.
