East Asian Studies at Princeton

Can anybody comment on the caliber of the East Asian Studies department at Princeton, more specifically China Studies? Please compare with other highly respected programs at schools like Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley, and Michigan.

It's good, and I'm considering majoring in it. I can't compare it though, because I don't know anything about the other schools.

My friend who's currently a freshman at Pton is planning on getting a certificate in it. She seems generally impressed with it so far, so I'm guessing it's pretty good :)

East Asian studies is much better at UCLA, Stanfurd, Berkeley, and Harvard. Berkeley is ranked #1 in Asian studies/history BTW. However, UCSD has one of the best China studies departments, if I am not mistaken.

Rankings don't rank undergrad experience, they rank papers and researched produced, usually within the faculty and grad department.

Yeah, go to excessively large schools for the better undergrad experience...
