Hi,

I applied to ECU a while ago and they wanted to see my first semester grades. I had a 3.0 gpa but now i have a 3.1 GPA and a 1560 SAT . (480-CR 530-Math 550-Writ) . I heard that if it says that they wanna see your final transcripts on your pirate port it means you've been accepted. Mines doesn't say that so does that mean I'm denied ? But what do you think my chances are?

Please answer ...

Is your 3.1 GPA weighted or unweighted. If it is unweighted, then you seem fine for ECU. Your SAT score is also good enough for East Carolina. Based on your stats, you seem like a pretty average applicant to ECU. And since ECU accepts over 60% of applicants, I could only assume your chances are pretty good.

As for the PiratePort, it takes a few days for the final transcripts request to come up. So if you just saw that your decision was made recently, I wouldn’t worry. But if it’s been several days since your PiratePort said “Decision made”, then I would be a little concerned.

Its unweighted :/. Im just a little worried. I saw it on Wednesday or Thursday. today’s Sunday, so IDK if that’s good or bad. :(

Just stay positive. If your weighted GPA is 3.6 or higher, then I would definitely think you’d be admitted. Are you in-state or out-of-state?

In state ! Business Major

I see absolutely no reason why ECU reject you. I know of people getting into ECU with SAT scores under 1500. Give the PiratePort another day or so to update. Good luck!
