East Coast Acceptances?

My status followed the progression for being accepted: mid-year grades --> forwarded --> "being reviewed". The enrollment link works for me. When I click it, I see the form all filled out with my name and such.

I live in CT and have yet to receive my acceptance packet. Has anyone in the Northeast received packets from this recent wave yet?

Is it safe to say that my status/the fact the link works means I'm in, but that the packet just hasn't made it here yet? My mom seems to believe this is the case since a package postmarked on the 24th wouldn't get here till early next week, according to her logic. But I'm starting to get worried.

Note: I applied as a bio major to CLAS.

I’m not northeast, I’m midatlantic, but I received my acceptance package Friday (the 26). It was postmarked the 23, a day where I didn’t check my status. My status was reviewed, then forwarded the 22, and then reviewed again by the 24.

Theoretically, you should have received something postmarked the 24 yesterday. But if it was postmarked any day later than that, then your mother is right, you won’t get it until Monday or later.

I had the same things happen to me in terms of the enrollment link and last two statuses. The RSVP for accepted students also worked for my the day before I received the package. I’d say it’s very likely you’re in! I obviously can’t speak definitively until you’re holding the acceptance package in your hands, but it seems likely to me. :)

I just checked my profile again, and there are now tabs called “enrollment Commitment Deposit” and “RSVP for Admitted Student Programs” – this just happened today!!! When I click the latter, it says “Welcome , please confirm here ___”. And the first one takes me to the enrollment link I had tried earlier.

Is it safe to start celebrating???

I’d say probably. I was so excited when I got my letter, I was literally jumping up and down screaming! :D

i also live on the east coast (new york) and i had a pattern similar to that as well… i went from “reviewing” for months, to forwarded on 3/24, to “reviewing” yesterday. and i just checked my status again this morning and all of the RSVP for admitted students events popped up along with the enrollment deposit form. it isn’t official yet since i do not have the actual acceptance packet, i cannot be 100% sure. but i am SO EXCITED and i am running to my mailbox first thing tomorrow when the mailman comes :)

I live in PA and got my package on Thursday. Think you should see something in the mail tomorrow.

where on your profile did u see the link?..

Under “Admission” tab-- there used to be two boxes, Admission Documents and one other… now there are four, with two of them being the new ones.

well if they changed it for everyne that got in…i guess i didn;t

I hoping that they changed it by schools. I applied to Marshall, and status changed from forwarded to reviewed overnight, but none of the backdoor links/boxes are there.
for the people that have boxes/can access backdoor, which school did u apply to?

I applied to CLAS. And I am almost positive I’m in, upon clicking the RSVP box it congratulated me on my acceptance and allowed me to RSVP to an “Explore USC” event.

My son got into Marshall on 3/26. His status went from reviewed, to forwarded, to reviewed sometime between 3/23 and 3/26, but boxes didn’t appear until 3/26. FWIW.

I think the boxes appear on the day you’re supposed to receive the letter. Meaning that for those of you with boxes today, the letter should come tomorrow, since “there’s no post on Sundays”

fun game: name the source for that quote. And yes, I’m a dork. :)

lol wisdomsomehow, answer is harry potter? haha

what about the backdoor links? any idea when they start working? (if you’re accepted), cause i just changed to review, but the backdoor is not working. but it’s working for others, so it doesn’t look very good- unless they’re doing it by school, then i hope marshall is just being slow. lol

^^^The backdoor links never worked for my son and he got in.

yes! HP ftw. :)

the commit form worked the day I noticed I was reviewed again, and then the RSVP link worked the next day, and both boxes showed up the day after that, which was also the day I received my letter. :)
