East Coast students who got into USC undergraduate(any tips?)

Typically, UC schools are tough to get into just by being out-of state. The stats show that that USC doesn't accept many east coast high school students. If anyone has gotten into USC from the east coast, can you state if you were accepted/waitlisted, gpa, and extra curriculars.

You’ve got it wrong. USC is private and takes students from all over. Typically around ~45% of the student body is from California, ~40-45% is from the other 49 states and DC, and another 10-15% is international.

If you’re talking about the University of California (UC) system, that’s a different story. Keep in mind also that the UCs are almost as expensive out of state as private schools, and typically offer little financial aid to out of state students.
