East Lo or West Lo....

ahnyoungs - sept 19th. theyre supposed to email us with more info later.
tehspoon - your roomies should be listed there with their contact info.
Reddit - hey neighbor! i’m 7 doors down from you. =]
jason2099 - oh god is that where that kid hung himself? that’s below my hall. =[

@silence3

I received a triple too at East Lo and I have the same situation. Luckily I know both of my roommates (they’re friends from high school), me and one roommate both had our information up on the housing site, leaving the third guy out, but I asked him, and his had BOTH of our information up, so I’m pretty sure it’s like that for you too.

Then that probably means the third guy opted to not give his info out or something.

You’re lucky: that’s East Lothian.

West Lo sucks.

west kinda sucks :(

x8equalsDtilde: yeah that one idk the hall number though

Hey, West Lo isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to seem. I mean in the end, West lo is closer to campus and it’s easier to meet people, at least I think so. Since the doors can stay open in West lo and you can access both A and B side of the hall on your floor. The laundry room sucks and everything isn’t new and no control of AC but overall it’s not like HORRIBLE.

silence3: if one name isn’t listed, it means one of your roommate decided to not share their information with you. All the rooms should be full.

Quick question, are d,e,f floors like 1st, 2nd, and 3rd?

DEF = building
1xx, 2xx, 3xx, 4xx = floor
numbers behind the floors = your room number

D123 = building D, floor 1, room 23.

ahh kk thanks!

I remember Pentland laundry room was GG, 2 washers and 2 dryers to share with about 50 people.

Somehow everyone got through tho…

probably because they did their laundry at THREE AM

That sounds REALLY lame haha. How about Lothian? How are the laundry areas? Just as bad as Pentland? Hopefully not.

Well, I remember somehow the AI/Lothian laundry rooms had like 40+ machines for 100 people or something… rough guesses here, I might be wrong.

Although, from what I’ve heard most people had worse experiences in those -

People at Pentland learned to do their laundry at different times and days, so it wasn’t as much of a rush (queue for a machine was never more than 2 people, most of the time none of the machines were being used)

friends from the other dorms said that everyone did their laundry on Sundays, so that it would get really busy and stuffy and hot in the room…

east lo laundary room reminds me of a cia bunker from the cold war, its creppy and under ground. East lo is nice on the 2nd story
