What are some 5 credit classes that are easy and interesting? By easy I definitely mean a 3.5 and above shouldn't be too arduous to achieve. Also, who was the instructor for that class? Thanks!

Econ 200 and 201 are supposed to be really easy. It certainly seems that way to me (I’m taking Econ 200 now, section E).

Sure, Econ 200 may be easy but it definitely isn’t a 3.5+ class for everyone (the class also depends a lot on the TA you get). The median is set between a 2.9-3.1 for that class since it is essentially one of the “weedout classes” for business/econ majors. You should take a class where there is no preset median/average; in Music 120 the median is generally a 3.5+ compared to a 3.0 in Econ 200. But in the end, choose classes that you like. For example, the median grade for the Psych 101 class I took was a 3.6 (I ended up with a 3.6) and the median grade for the Econ 200 class I took was a 3.0 (I ended up with a 3.7).

I took Russian Art, a 5 credit VLPA class, to fulfill my VLPA credits. It was beyond real how boring that class was, but it was for the most part a walk in the park. Got a 3.5 and I barely even tried.

thanks! can i get the actual name and number of the course? e.g. art 201

It’s RUSS 426. I’m warning you though, it’ll bore you to tears. Drink lots of espresso if you hope to survive the lectures. The teacher was James West.

What are some other easy classes I can take to fulfill my VLPA credits?

Russian Art is the only VLPA I’ve taken so far, I’m an engineering major so art is my kryptonite.
