Easy 500 Level and Above Courses

I am a Masters student and I would like to graduate next semester. However, in order to graduate next semester, I would have to take at least 16 credits (assuming I do not take any summer classes). From what I have heard, 16 credits of graduate course work is quite a lot. Thus, if I take a lot of credits, it would probably be a lot less painful if I took some easy courses.

What are some easy 500 level and above courses at U-M? I am interested in taking classes offered by the following departments:
-Industrial and Operations Engineering
-Technology and Operations (Business School)
-School of Information
-Complex Systems
-Math

Some of you are probably thinking something along the lines of:
“You should not do a Masters just to take easy classes.”
“Shouldn’t you be more concerned about learning than taking easy classes?”
“What’s the point of spending a lot of money to take easy classes?”
“How is taking easy classes going to prepare you for your job?”

If you have the above mindset, that is fine and I understand. Thus, I would appreciate it if the above points (or similar points) were not addressed again because I am already well aware of them.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

I had some suggestions but none of them fall into those categories.

Eta: I’ve taken between 15 and 18 credits every semester here as a master’s student. It’s doable but rough.

I am open to hearing your suggestions.

i don’t think any 500 lvl math courses would be particularly easy.

The 500 level biostats classes are pretty easy but they’ll be overly simple for someone from a math background.

You can consider looking at almost any of the HBHE or EPID courses since the school of public health expects you to take 15 credits and plans courses with that in mind.

The demography class with Barbara Anderson in sociology is another really good option.

I’d avoid most social studies and humanities classes. A monograph a week is par for the course in those.

I took a 500-level SI class back in 2009. I forgot the number but it was game theory (SI department, not Econ) and that one was very easy. But I don’t know if it’s still offered or if it’s still the same since it was so long ago. It was a half-semester 1.5 credit class, but there was another corresponding class to it.
