<p>I've been receiving a few college applications in the mail and I see that some require you to calculate your own UW GPA.</p>
<p>How do I do that? If my grades are out of 5.0 do i just subtract 1 point?</p>

<p>A= 4
B= 3
C= 2
D=1</p>
<p>Does your self-calculated GPA include courses from middle school that you got high school credit for?</p>
<p>If it's on your higih school transcript and it counts in your weighed GPA, then YES it does include those course in middle school.</p>
<p>Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have a quick question. Back in a college fair, I gave the colleges that I'm interested in my contact information. One of the colleges sent their Part I app, but I wanted to complete the application online. Basically the question is, would they be mad, if I filled out Part I online instead of on paper?? (I dind't specifically ask for a paper app, btw)</p>
