Any suggestions? I'm thinking of taking Brain and Mind BISC 230 next semester....not sure though...

Most likely I'll be taking Earthquakes. It sounds interesting, and it shouldn't be very hard if you're a math/science major already.

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed Earthquakes. They're visiting the San Andreas Fault this weekend.

I took BISC 230. It was quite interesting and McClure is a really interesting guy to listen to.

It is not, however, an easy A. In fact it's probably one of the hardest-graded cat 4's at USC. Your grade is based on a couple lab reports (easy), a term paper (easy but time consuming) and 3 multiple choice tests (hard)

Humans and Their Environment was the worst GE class ever. This may be a bit biased since I hate science, in general, but the class was just really redundant and half the topics on the exams weren't even covered in class. The professors that teach it (Bakus and Kiefer) are some of the worst lecturers at USC. I received an A in the class, but in all fairness, you have to work your ass off if you want to get that A. Sure, it's easier to work hard in this class than one pertaining to your major, but really I just didn't like it at all.

You should take Climate Change with Professor Lund.

I've heard nothing but good things about EXSC 205L (The Science of Human Performance), which hopefully I'll be taking next semester. It's a really popular class, and if you're at all interested in fitness, I hear there are fun labs. I don't know if it's easy, but it doesn't sound too hardcore science-y.

If you're good at physics then supposedly PHYS200 is a fun and easy course. However I suppose if you're not good at physics then it could be horrible as well.

If you've taken the physics for science and engineering series (PHYS 151, PHYS 152, and PHYS 153) then PHYS 200 probably would end up being easy. If you survived the honors sequence (PHYS 161, PHYS 162, and PHYS 163) then PHYS 200 would be a cakewalk.

Just bumping this thread up in case anybody else has an opinion about EXSC 205L...I wanna take that next semester if it fite in my SChedule. ;)

I've wanted to take it the last two semesters but it all filled up before I could register. Chances are you will not get in as a freshman. But maybe you'll get lucky.

hmmm that exsc 205 sounsd interesting
