Easy classes during sophomore and freshman year year. How will this affect me?

Hi guys. I am junior and I recently moved to a new school.

My former school did not offer any Honor classes and my former school only offered AP to juniors and seniors. SO I COULD NOT TAKE THEM. Since I moved to a new school, I feel like this will be disadvantages for me when I apply for colleges. In the new school, a lot of students have been taking honors and ap classes since freshman year.
Will college even able to know it? I am kind of worried that college would immediately think that I took only easy classes, which boosted my GPA. But the fact is that I took pretty rigorous classes, but not the most rigorous.

Also, I feel very anxious that I took an very easy class during sophomore year would destroy my chances to top schools such as IVY or top 20 unis. The class was Physical Science. Other smart sophomore students took Chemistry instead of physical science class. I could take in Chemistry class, however, I decided not to challenge myself that time because of the personal issues that I was having. Would universities throw me away when they see this class..? I aced the class though.

Can anyone here share insights? Thank you in advance :D

I would make sure that you meet with your new school’s guidance counselor and make sure s/he can include in her/his letter the info about the restrictions at your old school. This is very important. You can also add a note at the top of the “Additional Info” section of the Common App. Don’t include the info in your second paragraph. Just a brief note that says something like “I attended 9th and 10th grades at XXX school, which did not offer honors classes and restricted AP classes to juniors and seniors. As such, I have no honors or AP classes in my freshmen or sophomore years.”
