Suggestions for an International credit course?

THE 2000 Theatre Appreciation. F, S, SS.
Credits: 3. Not open to theatre/dance majors.
Study of history, literature, forms, styles and philosophies of theatre from a humanistic approach. (H, I)

If you're looking for something easy to satisfy the requirement, this is a great class. (Guaranteed A). If you're looking for something a little more thought provoking, take another class.

Er.. something other then theater appreciation lol. yeah all my friends took that. Is there a way to see a list of international courses on the catalog online?

is Cultural Anthropology a good class? .. cause i'm taking it.

Cities of the World!

yeah, there is a way to check. you can go to University of Florida and search schedule of courses, on that first result there should be a "general education" section. the classes are listed underneath..

or you can go on ISIS ISIS and go to register for classes and search by gen ed reqs.

cultural anthro is an ok class from what ive heard, but definitely not easy. my friend said it is a lot of reading and the tests are pretty hard. i would say it mostly depends on your prof.

why dont you want to take theatre app? it was a great class, really easy..pretty fun.

what kind of stuff are you interested in? thats gonna make all the difference in these "easy" classes.

My bad ... I meant Diversity. I've already had my International done.

human sex is an easy diversity

did anyone take EUS2001 euro. experience? how was cities of the world class? how are the exams?

I don't know how EUS2001 is like in college, but I took AP Euro in high school and passed it. Lots of reading and memorization. So I'm thinking it's probably the same in college.
I wouldn't say it's hard, cause I love History, but it's a lot of reading.

"human sex is an easy diversity"

Have you taken it? Or you just assume that it's easy?

I am taking it for summer B and majority of my friends took it during spring. Exams are online and you attend discussion and write little short responses to articles that you've read. There is one research paper at the end. It fulfills the writing requirement as well if you need it. I don't know if we're doing the research paper for summer though since it's a shorter session. =)

hmm im gonna try to look for it on Aug 1st (That's when I can change my schedule) .
I don't really need any Writing requirement cause I've gotten all of them from APs and Dual Enrollment credits already. Pretty much done with my Gen Ed. except for Diversity.
I never had Cultural Anthropology before, but it sounds like a topic that I would like to study, but I don't know if I should take it, since you said it's a hard class.

I guess i'll think about it.

Thanks tho.

Human sex is an easy diversity (ANT2301). Try to get Rooney as your professor. His exams are easy. I heard some of the other ANT2301 prof. make difficult exams.

I signed up for GEO2420 intro to human geography...but I think I want THE2000. hahaha I want an easy int'l but so far it's full =(

How do you "try" to get a certain teacher? For fall I have Gravlee,Clarence C IV for the Human Sexuality and Culture class...does anyone know anything about him?

Gravlee is good too. You can look up which professors are teaching which sections under the course listings.
